So what was in my Jinglevoxbox ???
This has been one of my favorite vox boxes I have ever received.

Cookies from biscoff
Nail polish
A coupon for free ore-Ida tots
An eyeliner
And a small lotion from cetaphil

I love everything but mostly I loved a ittybitty from hallmark. It's a mini rapunzel doll 

My favorite snack

I love potatoes ! Anything made from a potatoe is okay in my book. I recently was sent a coupon for a free package of ore-Ida tots and oh man was I hooked. I now enjoy these tots all the time. They are easy to make and my husban loves them to. I highly reccomend these to any potatoe lover.

Cheap lashes ????

Do you love false lashes and special effects makeup as much as i do ???

want to know a way to get both DIRT cheap ???


Its simple 

WAIT until halloween is over and go to your local drug stores, most of the time they are anywhere from 50-75% off or more 

last year i bought 5 pairs of feather lashes for $2 total

Also i bought tons of cream makeup - white and black for .50 each 



Another tip to get them even cheaper 

go to wallgreens cvs or rite aid places that have rewards 

and use your rewards bucks to pay for your whole purchase 

Could this item be causing acne ???

Lets face it we are all hooked to our cell phones

Literally i can not go 100 feet without knowing where my cell is ha-ha. Well that cell phone of yours could be causing you breakouts.

We use out cell phone a ton throughout the day. When we talk on it its right beside out face, or if your lazy like me rested on the side of your face. All of that bacteria from your face is going on your phone and vise versa.

To help prevent breakouts on the sides of your cheeks and face, just wipe your phone down at least once a week with a clorox or some sort of disinfecting wipe. Simple and it could really save your skin.

BRUSHESSSSSS

every makeup artist needs good makeup brushes. Well my new favorite  brushes are by a company called Sigma. They are high quality but way cheaper then most.

Steps for a flawless wedding ! well at least makeup for them haha

So I have been doing makeup for wedding parties for 6 years now. Every year i learn new things and new ways to make it go as smoothly as possible so i want to share those things with you today.

Preparing your kit !! 

1. Make sure all of your makeup brushes are as clean as possible and look nice 
2. bring your disposable applicators (some people do not like brushes even if they have been cleaned and sanitized)
3. have a wide variety of colors and shades in (foundation, lipsticks, eyeshadows and blushes)
4. Bring a mirror- some locations are outside and do not have a mirror (you want the  bride to see herself before the wedding DUH)
5. use some sort of cape or draping so they do not get any makeup on anything (some brides will insist on you doing her makeup with her wedding dress on CRAZY but you must do it )
6. Bring many different types of primers and eyeliners some people have allergies to certain things. Example a bride i did yesterday was allergic to pencil liner. thank god i had gel with me ha-ha

Arriving to the location 

1. Please Please PLEASE get the right directions if you have never been to the site before ! the last thing the bride needs is a lost makeup artist .
2. Come early !!!!!! lateness just starts everyone out on a bad note 
3. Do not come in the location like you own the place and even if it is not pretty talk about how beautiful it is there.

Meeting the wedding party

1.  Introduce yourself to everyone so they don't wonder who this random person with a huge rolling case is.
2. Get to know them a little as you are doing their makeup. EVERYONE secretly loves to talk about themselves so let them ! 

makeup time !! 

1. SO that time has come lets do this !!
2. I will say who all is getting makeup done and then ask who is airbrush and who is regular. I save the bride for close to last so the makeup lasts a lot longer
3. I get everyone to prime their own faces before we start that makes time go by faster for me and its as simple as putting moisturizer on.
4. Ask everyone you do what they were wanting to do with their makeup and then consult them on wether thats achievable or some fairy tale ha-ha
5. I always put foundation on first then do eyeshadow and touch up anything that has messed with foundation under the eyes !
6. do your thing ! some people from the surrounding party will throw their scenes in and just go with it. YOU are the makeup artist not them, but they like to feel involved so talk about what their idea is and ask the person you are doing if they would like that (most of the time they don't )

clean up 

after the wedding party is finished i usually hang out a while to make sure everyone is happy and nothing happens to the makeup for example if the bride has a meltdown before walking down the aisle you want to be there t help fix the smeared eyeliner.

i always clean up after everyone is out of the room and at the wedding that way it doesn't look like I'm trying to rush to get out !

ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR MONEY BEFORE THE WEDDING STARTS !!! i have had so many wedding parties that forget to pay and have to bring me a check weeks later ( that does not fly with me honey )
